Counselors with Restored adhere to the standards of practice and methodology of ACBC
Counseling is a relationship where the counselor moves toward troubled people offering hope, helping navigate the struggles faced in a fallen world. Biblical counselors demonstrate the love of Christ through the counseling care that they offer, with the Scriptures guiding the counsel and practical lifestyle skills for true heart transformation and lasting hope.

K.J. Nally

Director and
Lead Counselor
K.J. Nally has been a biblical counselor for 17 years, and counsels women, children, and marriages at her church and Restored Biblical Counseling and Training Center in partnership with Lowcountry Biblical Counseling Center (out of Charleston, SC).
K.J. is a (head-over-heals in love) pastor’s wife of Dustin for 20 years, mom of three awesome boys, biblical counselor, and a writer and teacher about God’s Word and relationships. Dustin, and K.J. Nally lead the counseling training for the Center. In 2014, she earned her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is completing her ACBC certification. K.J. loves applying scriptural truth to enrich Christ-centered marriages and families, help adopted children navigate personal struggles, and spur on women and children to seek true fullness of life as they live for their Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ “under the sun” of life’s circumstances.
She is currently focusing her counseling on marriages with her husband, women and teen girls who struggle with suffering, anxiety, or identity/worth issues, and adoption related needs. K.J. has had the humbling honor to counsel women in abusive relationships; she counsels carefully and wisely in these most fragile circumstances.
K.J.’s husband, Dustin, is the lead pastor of a new church, Abide Christian Fellowship in Okatie, SC, one of the fastest growing towns in the USA, between Beaufort and Bluffton.
K.J. has written for magazines and blogs, like Christianity Today, and is the author of The Storms of Life: Trusting God through Emotional Pains, Hurting Marriages, and Addictions; Absorbed: Becoming Physically, Emotionally, and Spiritually Intimate as God Designed; and a powerful adoption book called, The Thread: Adoption Stories Knit Together by Love. K.J. speaks at various places, including high schools, colleges, and churches for teens, young adults, and women's events. She has spoken about marriage on Dr. Bill Maier’s nationally-syndicated radio broadcast show about marriage and divorce. The article and show entitled, “Marriage Matters for Gospel Sake.” Recently, she was featured on Biblically Lit’s podcast, “Life, Love, and Biblical Counseling.”
One of K.J.’s favorite versus is from 2 Peter 1:2-3, which says, “Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
